Her stint on Celebrity Apprentice made it pretty clear that the she is no dumb blonde.  Now, in her first book, Bounce Don’t Break, Roderick shares the tips of the trade she’s learned along the way, and encourages women everywhere not to let self-doubt stand in the way of their success. The book contains a compendium of tips on how to maximize your assets and acknowledge your faults, emphasizing hard work, self-reliance, courage and entrepreneurial fortitude. Bounce Don’t Break is published by Running Press, and was written in collaboration with Liz Topp.

California Police Youth Charities Thanks Brande Roderick Print E-mail

California Police Youth CharitiesCalifornia Police Youth Charities was selected by Actress/Model Brande Roderick to be the recipient of money raised on the hit reality show Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice. The season kicked off on March 1, 2009.

Brande, who stars on the show for the Athena Team, was named Project Manager for the episode airing March 15th. The task was to sell wedding dresses and Brande stepped up to take on the challenge, leading her women’s team to a lopsided victory over the men.

CPYC was shocked, to say the least, when we watched the episode and realized that Brande had raised $167,666.00 for our charity. The amount of money raised could not have come at a more opportune time, as the economy has really made fundraising difficult this past year. The money raised will literally save the organization from cutting programs aimed at keeping “at risk” kids occupied with productive activities run by positive role models.

So let's start with the basics: How'd you get involved in The Celebrity Apprentice?

I got involved with The Celebrity Apprentice because they had called my agent and apparently Donald Trump was a fan of mine, which was exciting, and he wanted me to be on the show so I went and met with the producers of the show. I told them all about my business skills and the businesses that I run and I got the job!

Did you know whom you were going to be competing against before you started?

Well, I did know of one for sure because we have the same agent. I knew about Dennis and there were a few others that I knew about because I was friends with people before I went on the show. So there were just a few that I knew and the few that they knew, of course they told me.

What Donald Trump had to say about working with Brande Print E-mail
As an actress and a Bussinesswoman, Brande Roderick brings a solid background to The Celebrity Apprentice as well as a beautiful presence. Her demeanor combines intelligence with savvy, and her physical attributes serve to enhance her many talents. Brande's entrepreneurial skills are significant, and I think we can expect a lot more from her in the future. Brande has a great mix of individual leadership skills along with team spirit, which was evident while watching her during The Celebrity Apprentice. This is a winning combination and I was pleased with her performance throughout the season. Long term success will not be a problem with Brande.

Brande Roderick is slated to appear in the upcoming season of Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice, debuting March 1 on NBC. Brande Roderick will be playing for the charity, "CPYC – California Police Youth Charities.

“Last season’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ became one of the hottest shows on television — and this season will be even better,” said Trump in a statement released to Access. “We have an amazing cast of celebrities and we are looking forward to some fantastic entertainment.”

Also joining the cast are basketball legend Dennis Rodman, funny man Tom Green, country star Clint Black, ice skating legend Scott Hamilton, comedian Andrew Dice Clay and even Joan’s daughter, Melissa Rivers.

Last season's 'The Celebrity Apprentice' helped salvage Trump's boardroom-based franchise, which was facing cancellation on NBC after its ratings dwindled. The repackaged celebrity edition of the series had stars competing in business-oriented tasks in New York City to raise money for their favorite charities.
