Great Advice, especially for young women starting careers

I loved this book because Brande talks about important every day issues for young women starting out - especially finances. And the "behind the scenes" tales from Celebrity Apprentice were priceless and fascinating. She is an adorable smart woman, with a lot of good advice to share.


Adore this book!

How many times have we heard of women similar to Brande being discovered at a football game or while they were surfing or some other story where they easily fall into a life of glamour? A lot of women want to have a life like Brande's. Even if you're beautiful, smart, talented, a good person-things usually won't just come to you, no matter how many times we hear those fairytale stories from other model-actresses.

Brande is very relatable despite everything she's achieved. She's worked very hard and has inspired me to do the same. I love all the tips about learning to do things for yourself and not depending on anyone else. I would personally love to fall into Brande's footsteps and be in the entertainment business, but I think this is a great read for any young woman. I was actually in a deep depression, and this book was the first step out of it. Brande also mentions The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, which has completely changed me life. This cycle of finding more happiness and inspiration keeps on going, and it all began with Brande's book. Thank you so much Brande! The woman is beautiful inside and out and definitely no dumb blonde!


Great book for young women starting out in the business

This book is great for young girls that want to get into the entertainment business. It gives great tips on how to stay safe when your out there meeting new people that sometimes try to take advantage of young girls in an unfamiliar environment. Also, provides insider tips on how to be successful and better yet, STAY successful! This author isn't just a pretty face but is a saavy businesswoman that continues to be successful in all aspects of her life by staying motivated and following things through. She explains how to stay on track and how to accomplish your goals whatever they may be.

This book is a book you give as a gift to all the women in your life as well as keeping one for yourself. It's about a womans dream and how she got there. It's helpful to young women and their goals in life. It has examples and short stories of her own struggles and triumphs along the way. There are behind the scene stories of some of the shows and people she worked with. But most of all, this book is something you will constantly keep close so that you can open it now and then and refer back to it when you are struggling to reach your goal, you will know there is a possibility you will reach it soon. It will give you hope and teach you as well. Enjoyed it thoroughly, Can't wait for another one Brande.
